We are also educated and versed in the Recreational Craft Directive which applies to boats and yachts being shipped to the European Union that went into effect January 1, 2005 .  This directive also known as the CE means that any boat under approximately 75 feet has to have the CE label to be admitted to any EU country. here is a great link to a CE information site: CE CONFORMANCE

The route west.... Float on, Float off service which goes directly from Port Everglades to Ensenada Mexico or Vancouver B.C.  On deck cargo which arrives Ensenada.

Ensenada is approximately 50 miles south of San Diego and over 100 to Long Beach, California. Being a former Californian the ride from Ensenada is strictly uphill and at times can be cold and blustery with impressive pacific ground swells, even in summer but... it doesnt last forever and can be equally as beautiful.

We currently have resources in California for picking up a boat from either transport company.

The car ferry (vertical height 14 ft) you can ship  a 33 blackfin  sportfish (inside)on this boat. It  has regular service from Long Beach, Oakland and Seattle to Hawaii. On deck shipping is available at increased rate over inside rate. example 33 blackfin inside rate 7700.00 on deck rate 37,000

The barge, is an ocean going super barge and has proven track record of service of over 25 years from the Pacific west coast to Hawaii.

We have someone who will pick up your boat from Vancouver BC and deliver it to the barge in Seattle. This is about the same distance as from Ensenada to Long Beach with the exception that it is a inside passage through the Georgia straits and Puget Sound.

We have resources for cradles, bridge removal and assorted services for boats being shipped via the barge.

You will also need load and transit insurance for any shipment whether it be by barge, ferry ,on deck or float on cargo carrier. we have a relationship with an insurance company who specialises in this particular type of insurance.

Additionally required is an marine surveyor who will attest to the condition of the boat while being loaded to meet the insurance requirements.

We have an experienced trucking company well known in the Pacific North West that can easily make transcontinental shipments from Florida to California, or anything in the northwest region. we found their rates to be quite competitive.

The route east:

we have the same shipping modalities available ie, car ferries, on deck cargo and float on, roll on roll off vessels available. We also have an in house service company that can remove bridges and do just about anything required including converting electrical systems.

We have an experienced shrink wrap company, in house USCG licensed captain, and can solve any logistical problem needed.

with the differences in scheduling between various vessels, this will no doubt influence what ever decision you might have.
